Rock Chick 4 – Renegade
So a lot of things happen on Rock Chick 4 and one thing I’ve learned – Luke is a flirt. No, this book isn’t Luke’s story, but if you’ve read the other books you probably should’ve read about him trying to make a move with some of the girls when they think they are “on a break” with their men.
Anyway, enough of Luke, let’s talk about the book.
Vance is one of Lee’s men; he’s a hot man who is known for his stealth, can break in to anywhere he wanted, and can hunt whoever wherever.
Jules is a vigilante who hunts down drug dealers and is also a social worker. Vance got caught up in her world when she shot someone’s tires in front of Fortnum.
Just like the other books (except for Indy’s), it was sort of love at first sight between them.
I like their characters. One thing I noticed though is that there seems to be a common denominator among the stories – pushy hot guys, stubborn girls who have self-esteem issues (they all think that they are not good enough for the men), and the break up attempt that seems to be trending. So aside from fresh people coming into the picture, and the different guy professing his love and promising his protection, everything seems something I read already. But it’s not entirely boring and Jules isn’t annoyingly stubborn so I’d rate this 4 out of 5.
