Sarah J Maas – A Court of Thorns and Roses
Now I understand the hype – why most instagrammers post about ACOTAR over and over again. This book, series, is addictive.
For more than 3 hours, I am living in this fantasy world where I am in a Court with a High Lord. It is a new world for me; a world with Faes and shifters and all those stuffs I can’t remember how to spell, but I know are the bad guys. More than the romance, the epic adventure and combat and magic are what’s keeping me from putting the book down.
The romance part is pretty good too; though I am confused why I don’t see Tamlin’s name on posts in Instagram related to ACOTAR. I guess I’ll find that out in the second book.
“I love you,” he whispered, and kissed my brow. “Thorns and all.”
Overall, it is an epic story of surviving a different world, and risking your life for the sake of that person (or High Lord) you love. This book shows the courage of a human girl despite being, well, human.
And there he was—my High Lord, my beloved, kneeling before me. “I love you,” I said, and stabbed him.
