Royally Screwed

First, I love the book cover. One look and I am sold, not that I need another reason to buy a book written by Emma Chase. I have almost all of her books because there’s a balance between fun and sexy and drama, and you always buying it is worth it.

Nicholas was charming and funny, and Olivia was sweet and amazing. There was attraction at first sight, and though Nicholas was drunk that time, he’s still very sweet and funny. Olivia is the typical good hard-working girl, but she isn’t boring – I love it that she can banter with Nicholas comfortably.

The plot, well, there’s a lot of books (and movies) out there with a soon-to-be King falling in love with a commoner and their relationship will be tested by laws and other royalties, but I guess what made this book unique is the manner of how it was written. I have a feeling that Nicholas is going to screw up at some point, but this book brings a different feel from what I’ve read or seen before.

I love how it ended, although I was hoping to read about how the Queen agreed to their marriage, or how Henry handled Nicholas decision, but overall, it was a very good book. :D
