This is one of the suggested books that I saw on my Goodreads account the other day. It is a story of 2 best friends who drifted apart after one of them ran away. After I-forgot-how-many-years they saw each other after her Grandmother left her house to both of them.

Amelia’s character is ok. She clearly had no clue of Justin’s feeling and she was hurt when she found out that he was keeping something from her. Justin, well, I hated him at first when everything he does is antagonizing Amelia. Like, hello, do you only care about yourself? She was hurt too, you know. (Eye rolls)

The plot is unique. I was thinking he’s going to cheat on his girlfriend especially when he caught Amelia watching him do, umm, that, but he was a gentleman (sort of) and remain loyal to his girlfriend (if you call being in love with the other girl but won’t break up or do nasty stuff with his girlfriend loyal).

Anyway, what I did not like is the pacing of the story. It was interesting at first, But there were a lot cheesy lines (especially that careful + clueless equals careless; what was up with that?) and sort of just skimmed through the middle part until Amelia had Bea and Justin was back in the picture and sort of skimmed through the part when Amelia found out that Justin received an offer to be on a tour. I don’t know; I find that part a bit boring.

There was a little action towards the end, but everything is sorted out. I guess this book isn’t for me. I may read some parts again but not the whole book. 2 Stars for me.
