It’s been years since I’ve read this book. I always loved reading angel stories, and this one is a YA Paranormal so, why not? I decided it’s time to do a reread because the movie version of the book will be shown here on November 11. Here are my thoughts for Fallen.

Luce is a strong headed girl who lived a life (that she knows of) with shadows hovering over her. Little did she know that the life she has right now happens to be just the nth time she’s reincarnated. She’s honest, she told Daniel about what she felt, and she’s also caring.
Daniel, on the other hand, is unpredictable. One minute he’s into her, the next he’s not, but I think that’s because he spent all his life seeing Luce, meeting her, and losing her again and again. If death changes man, how else if the person you loved died more than once, just as soon as you two were reunited?
I like the plot; I never read something like this before, and I can fell and understand Daniel’s words when he said he can’t do this anymore. I also like the twist with Sophia, and the part when Penn died was heartbreaking.
Overall, I’d say this is a very good YA paranormal book, with fresh plot and unexpected twist, and (as of writing) I hope the movie will be as amazing as the book.
4 stars.
