Passion

Before I wrote my review I went to Goodreads to check the synopsis and I thought it seems different than what happened on the book. Anyway, here’s why I am rating this book 3.5 stars.

Luce, still annoying and stubborn, went back in time to see what how she died before. What I find irritating is how stubborn (I guess this is the best word to describe her) she was, not the going back in the past thing, but to talking to a version of her and Daniel in the past. Why does she have to talk to them? Can’t she just watch from the distance? Doesn’t she know it IS not good to talk to your past self because it MIGHT mess up with the future (or the present)?

Daniel went to look for Luce too. As always, he was bent on finding her and keeping her safe, something Luce has been disregarding all along, and I actually like the version of Daniel in this story. I see now why he’s that messed up.

What I did not expect is Bill’s true identity and Cam’s history. The pacing is fine, the plot is unique, I liked Daniel better, though Luce needs to learn to control herself. Though she found out what Bill was plotting (which is a good thing; not what Bill’s plotting but the finding out what he’ll be doing), it’s annoying to read everyone scolding her and telling her what she shouldn’t while she ignores them. Like, hello, a hot angel is messed up for losing you over and over again; can’t you just stay put and be safe to keep him sane?

3 stars for this book.
