When I'm Gone

I’m rating this book 5 stars. ☺

I love the characters.
My heart sympathies with Reese. She had a traumatic life, and to grow up with people calling you stupid- I can't imagine how horrible it must've been. Mase- can I have a guy like him? He's probably the most disciplined and mature guy on this series, he's not a player like the rest of them, and he cares for everyone.
The pace is fine, I love how the two met, and they were really friends first before they were lovers, so their love story is convincing.
The plot is also good – well, not the fact that Reese had dyslexia, but it made the book more appealing and eye-opening. People need to be more aware and informed with the issue so that people with dyslexia gets help and acceptance, and need not to experience what Reese had.
The ending is also great, with Reese learning to fight for what she feels instead of just thinking that she doesn't deserve it, so there's a growth in her character.
I’m looking forward for their next chapter.
