The Best Goodbye

The Best Goodbye is wayyy different than the other Rosemary Beach books.

Sometimes it's hard to remember Captain as Blaire's brother because of how different he is. He’s jaded, and his past (after Addy) is shady. Addy has trust issues; that's one thing I’ve noticed, though it wasn't that annoying.

The plot is fresh (in Rosemary Beach series), although it was introduced towards the ending of When You’re Back that Captain was involved in some sort of a kill circle, his past and Franny is unexpected.

For the pace of their love story – mmm, I’m not sure what to feel about it. True, they've been together when they were kids and they did have a connection, but they were young.Personally, I think it would have been better if they took time getting to know each other more again, instead of jumping to each other's bones immediately. Besides, with Addy’s behavior everytime she sees Cap with another girl, it's clear that they have things to work for.

The ending is ok.
