Just for Now

Now this one is unexpected.
Falling in love with your brother’s best friend is probably one of the most cliché love stories.
Amanda is Marcus little sister, Preston is Marcus’ best friend. She's the typical sheltered rich girl with a heart, and he's a player just like Cage. She's got a heavy crush on him and one night, while he was drunk (too drunk 😵 to remember), he took her virginity. She was hurt when he left abruptly, and he thought everything was just a dream.
I like Amanda’s character. She is a nice girl, always looking past people's reputation, and though she was described as a weak girl who would panic and cry on tough situation, she became Preston’s rock when he needed her.
Preston’s character was, well, complicated. In front of his friends he was this happy go lucky guy, but he is also the same responsible and compassionate brother who would do everything for his 3 siblings. He was also exasperating at first because he can't seem to decide if he wants Amanda close or not.
Personally, I expected more groveling and fights between Preston and Marcus; I expected Marcus would make Preston work harder to get his approval, and that Preston would do something big for Amanda. That didn't happen though.
Overall it is still a good book. I’d give it 4 stars.
