While It Lasts

Reread: November 24, 2016

While It Lasts is probably my most favorite installment in this series. I think the first 2 books were for young adults, and this one is for those who wants it to be sexier.
Eva is a sheltered girl who has been heartbroken for 18 months, after her fiancé/best friend/childhood sweetheart died. Then she met Cage who isn't like any boy she knew and she fell for him.
Cage is one of the biggest player among the bunch. I remember how he was when Low was staying in his apartment, and when he and Eva went to see Jackdown playing, Eva got bits of info about his past lifestyle.
Cage got a DUI, went to a farm for his punishment where he met Eva who hated him at first sight. Honestly, I think it was lust at first sight for Eva (though I don't blame her for that), since she grew warmer(sort of) toward Rush when she saw his butt. There was attraction between them, with Cage it was obvious, and they didn't know what hit them until it was too late.
The ending is touching, with Eva going after Cage and singing in the bar, and with Cage buying her a piano and all.
I would definitely read this book over again. 5 stars.
