I did not expect that backstory from Dewayne.

I wondered what his story would be, if he will meet someone innocent too, but the fact that it was someone from his past made it much more entertaining.

I like Sienna Roy. She is a strong and resilient woman who raised her kid on her own when her boyfriend died and her parents abandoned her. I like her character as well as Micah’s.

Dewayne’s character is just like Preston- one moment they want to be close, the next they run for the hills.

The plot is amazing. The flashbacks supported the feelings Dewayne had for Sienna so it was easy to see that he would fall in love with her, and Sienna seemed to be taken by Dewayne already even when she's with his brother. I also like how there's a build up with the tension, that not everything come crashing down at once, and the ending was great as well.

Overall, 5 stars for this book.
