The Brands Who Came For Christmas
This story is about two people who met, had a connection, had a one night stand, and a baby after.
Honestly, I can't remember how many sisters Maya has and who they were; I know they each have different personalities but I just keep on forgetting about them. I also forgot what is special in Maya. I remember Caleb’s identity crisis (sort of) but that's it.
The plot – well it is not really new, we had those one-night stand pregnancy stories before, I guess what's different with this book is Caleb’s family history where the other twin usually die at birth.
The pace – honestly, I find everything too fast. I don't see the connection between Maya and Caleb, there were no spark, but I did like that Caleb went through the storm to be with Maya when she's about to give birth, so he got points there.
Overall, I don't think this book is my usual scene.
1 star.
