Santa’s Assistant

I was given the ARC for this book from a giveaway online.

This will be a quick review for the novel (or a novella, I guess, because it wasn't lengthy).

The characters were ok, the plot was ok (the SECRET – I did not see that coming; I thought that he was hiding a Christian Grey side or something lol), the ending was ok.

Now I only have one problem – the pace. I always include the pace of the story as well as how the relationship developed in my reviews and for this one, I am not quite satisfied. Granted, it was a short story, but everything seem to happen a little too fast. I am not convinced that Nicholas likes Lucy. There were stories that seems like you can't get enough, and there are some which is rushed.

Might read this again. Might not. If ever I will read this again and have a different opinion maybe I'll change my rating; for now, 3 stars for me.
