Slammed

I forgot how great this book actually is. Slammed is the first book of the Slammed Series.

It's a story of an eighteen year old fell in love with her student teacher.

I like the characters.

Layken, or Lake, is a great girl caught in an awkward situation. She met Will, a guy who is one of the best book boyfriends ever created. They like each other, the attraction and the chemistry is there, but there's nothing they can do. All the characters are great and interesting, even the minor ones.

The plot is unexpected. And I learned something new because of this story – slamming. I loved it! I love how words flow naturally but the feeling intense.

The pace is also brilliant. It is realistic, you could see the initial attraction that they have, plus the building of connection between the two. The ending is also bittersweet.

Overall, 5 stars.
