Vampire Academy

This book (series) has its own version of vampires. It was sort of confusing at first, but with how it was written, you will be able to keep up.
The characters are interesting.
I admire Rose. Stubborn she may be, but she’s got this fierce love for Lissa. She’s a loyal friend to a fault, with the devil-may-care attitude, fearless and reckless too.
Dmitri is just like any lead warrior or guardian created – strong and tough.
The pace of the story is ok, although I am not entirely convinced about Dmitri’s feelings. Yes they have their moments but I needed more. The ending was sweet too.
Overall, 4.5 stars.
