I love this book! I thought it was going to be cheesy because of the title and the blurb, but this one is both hilarious and sexy that it’s worth the read!
Sutton (sorry, I didn’t like her name much L ) needed Reeve to pretend to be her fiancé. So that itself looks like it’s heading for a disaster, but they were able to pull through it because they have chemistry. Reeve admitted beforehand that he had a crush on Sutton, so it wasn’t surprising that he’s going to try to get into her pants. But boy, he sure has a way with words. If there’s one word I could describe his character, aside from hot and sexy, it’s going to be smooth.
Characters – 5!
I admit I had reservations with the plot. Usually books with pretend plots end up with rushed conclusions, no matter how well-written the first chapters were. I rarely find 4-5 stars book with this type of story, and this one definitely makes it to the list.
Plot – 4
Since they already knew each other, and are mutually attracted, the chemistry is already there. And those hot scenes ARE hot, not in the forced way, so for the pace, I give it a 5.
Pace – 5
Another thing I like about this book is that it’s on the low angst side, which means that there’s not much drama or groveling needed to have a HEA. Definitely a score of 5 for the ending.
Ending – 5
Overall, I love this book; not as cheesy as its title suggests, but it’s a feel good book with less drama but more sexy and fun scenes, so definitely 5 stars.
