This is one of those books with a plot that seemed like a fairytale. I really wanted to like this book but it just wasn’t for me.
The characters are ok; I already met Derek and Nicole on Love on Malecon, Kate is Nicole’s best friend.
The plot is interesting; I really wanted to like the book because I love stories where the lead characters have instant connection, but this one didn’t work out for me.
The pace is why I am rating this book average. The shifting of POVs from one character to another was confusing for me. Some lines delivered were also cheesy for my taste.
I didn’t get to finish the book.
I might try to read this book again, which might change my review, and I will sure to update my rating, but for now, I give this a 3.
I will still recommend it to my friends who love this type of stories.
