Review : Dirty Souls

Just like Dark Hearts, Dirty Souls will make you hold on to your seats as it contains heart-stopping scenes.

I don’t usually like books with mobsters or mafias but I am hooked with this duet. Vicente’s character is intriguing and charming that no matter how dangerous his persona screams, you can’t resist his charms. And Violet’s character is more mature, more resilient, and more trusting with Vicente’s love.

The plot is a continuation of what happened in the first book, but this one has more action on it. I’ve never read the other books so I don’t fully understand the other characters (parents), but I can say that the turn of events made them more interesting and I will definitely read their books.

I also love the pacing of the story; no scenes seem rushed. Plus, the ending is both nerve-racking and bittersweet.

Overall, it is a really good book. It’s not my usual scene but I did enjoy it, and will recommend it to my friends.

5 stars.
