I read a lot of 5 star reviews for this book so I decided to read it. I had to stop at 83% though.
There were just too much words it was nauseating (for me) to read.
The characters were conflicted and seem to have a lot of issues – they were both swinging back and forth with too many thoughts that I skimmed over the parts.
The plot – well, a rockstar laid low on a small town is something we’ve all read before, and again, too many words made me not appreciative with most scenes.
Pacing of the storyline seems to slow. At 83% I lost interest in finding out what they’ve been hiding all along.
Overall, I apologize for not wanting it like the other readers.
