Lauren Blakely - The Start of Us (No Regrets, #0.5)

Then she leans over and kisses me, and I can feel the goodbye in her lips. It is a last kiss, meant to linger, meant to carry on long after she leaves.
For a prequel/novella, this is pretty good.
It’s very descriptive and mysterious; like I’m going to tell you everything without telling you everything.
I like how you can see the connection between the two, and though everything happened in just one night, it’s not like you could question it, because there’s really a spark between the two.
The secret they hold is kind of bugging me, but the ending is just, wow.
For a novella, this is a good one.
PS: I read this before the first book
